Vinyl LP DVD !!

Tout d’abord, ce DVD était très attendu par les passionnés de terre « all over the world » ! La marque Américaine Vinyl a grandi au fil des années, produisant des vêtements épurés avec une réelle passion pour le trail et le BMX en général (importée en France par Banos).

Ce DVD LP était dans les tuyaux depuis quelques années, le crew Vinyl a beaucoup voyagé, en France notamment pour filmer leur rider Jems Muller ;  pour au final produire une vidéo de presque 45min composée de nombreux chapitres.

Sans forcément énumérer l’ensemble des différents chapitres, plusieurs riders m’ont interpellé. Mon patriotisme m’a forcément fais apprécier le sourcier Muller, une bonne partie des images sont été filmées à Toulouse, avec de belles lignes et des tricks maîtrisés pour Jems, mais aussi des images de son trip en PA l’année dernière, avec des passages impressionnant à Catty et Posh. Côté Français, nous avons aussi Vincent Primel qui roule au Chipo trail (entres autres) avec aisance sur des lignes pourtant très techniques !

Tom Arkus himself a produit une part bien variée, en parallèle de la réalisation de l’ensemble du DVD ; il a parcouru de nombreux spots à travers la planète dont les très rares trails Français : Banos et Adul’terre entres autres. La part de Mark Potoczny est tout aussi agréable avec des images de son trail dans le jardin de ses parents, mais aussi à Hazelwood ; d’ailleurs un chapitre entier est dédié à ce spot qui est juste fou ! Notamment grâce à l’environnement boisé du spot et l’implantation des lignes qui tournent sans cesse (avec des croisement un peu chaud tout de même…), un très beau spot initié par Brian Yeagle qui nous gratifie également de beaux passages !

Les chapitres « friends » donnent à voir des riders de renom tel que Chris Doyle (toujours aussi impressionnant surtout à Hazelwood), Clint Reynolds et sa routine technique, notre Français Denis Mowgly qui a filmé sur de nombreux trails, Robbo l’Anglais voyageur prouve qu’il connait bien le bois de Catty, sans oublier Ryan Popple, Ryan Wert, Kevin Porter, Bobby Delaat…etc. A noter la part 100% street du rider Brad Gibbs, qui est le seul street rider de la scène locale, mais le plus important est la passion de Brad qui colle parfaitement à l’esprit Vinyl selon Tom Arkus !

En résumé, LP est une très bonne vidéo, on ne se lasse pas de regarder ces belles images terreuses, grâce notamment à la variété des trails filmés à travers le monde, mais aussi avec de nombreux riders !

First of all, lots of people were waiting for this DVD, in fact every trail enthusiasts! The American brand Vinyl has grown up progressively, making clothes with simple design but with lots of passion for trail and BMX in general.

LP DVD was in the pipe for a couple of years, the Vinyl crew travelled a lot, in France for example, in order to film their French rider – Jems Muller; at last they produce about 45min long video which is composed of numerous chapters.

I won’t detail every chapter of the DVD but several one stand out (in my opinion). Logically, I’m patriotic and I obviously enjoyed watching Jems Muller’s part, lots of footage was filmed in Toulouse, with beautiful lines and massive tricks perfectly executed by Mr Muller; also some images from his PA trail trip he made last year (crazy runs at Posh and Catty). Still from France, there is Vincent Primel who has good runs at the Chipo trail (amongst other), where jumps are steep and technical!

Tom Arkus himself has a solid part in the same time of being in charge of producing the whole DVD, he rode lots of trails including the rare French one: Banos and Adul’terre. Mark Potoczny also made a beautiful part, footage from his own trail at this parent’s as well as Hazelwood trail; by the way a full chapter is dedicated to Hazelwood. This trail looks really nice, especially with the wooded environment and the lines which run in all direction (a bit dangerous in fact...); a very beautiful spot initiated by Brian Yeagle and Co; Brian also filmed some crazy lines on his own spot!

Friend chapters enable us to watch lots of different riders, as Chris Doyle who is simply impressive on his local spots, Clint Reynolds with technical movements, French rider Denis Mowgly who filmed on lots of trails, English Robbo who proves he well know the wood of Catty, not to mention Ryan Popple, Ryan Wert, Kevin Porter, Bobby Delaat…etc. You’ll also find a street chapter with Brad Gibbs, according to Tom Arkus, Brad is the only street rider of the local scene, but the most important thing is that Brad has a solid passion for BMX, like the whole Vinyl brand !

So, LP is a very good video, we never get tired watching it, due to the variety of trails filmed throughout the world, but also with lots of riders !
